stringed North African lute, Kologo music genius Stevo Atambire's
Frafra vocals and melismatic maneuver manifests steadfast conviction
at the core of this 6:38 dancefloor griot. MoBlack Records founding
father and namesake, MoBlack transfuses this vigorous, pelt-seeping
energy into an electronic vernacular, from which the Copenhagen native
picks up to evolve, in his own nimble way, a sedimentation of texture,
color, and luminescence tickled by treble and awakened by bass,
melding a bit of the past in the future, not just by design, but of
