 After a rain-stopping performance at Glastonbury last week, Little Dragon have announced a surprise London show at Corsica Studios as part of Boiler Room TV. The gig will be streamed live online between 7pm-8pm on Tuesday 18 July at http://www.boilerroom.tv/live

Having already been all over the airwaves with ‘Wildfire’ by SBTRKT on which they feature, they are is set to continue their meteoric rise to success with the release of ‘Ritual Union’ which has already bagged plays from Zane Lowe, Annie Mac and Lauren Laverne, who said they are “the coolest band in the world right now”. DJ Shadow seems to agree, having asked them to collaborate on a track for his long-awaited new album. The 12” and digital download will come with an acapella version of ‘Ritual Union’ and two remixes. One is a super smooth offering from on-the-rise German producer Tensnake and the other comes from house producer Maya Jane Cole, currently being streamed on iTunes here:

Since 2009’s critically acclaimed Machine Dreams they have not sat still, touring the globe and making some high profile friends along the way. Damon Albarn invited them to collaborate on two tracks for last year’s Gorillaz record Plastic Beach, which became album highlights for the critics with Pitchfork describing the songs ‘Empire Ants’ and ‘To Binge’ as “two of the most arresting things here; they’re airy, elusive and amazingly beautiful”. Similarly, David Sitek was so taken with singer Yukimi Nagano’s voice after touring with them in 2009, he asked her to lend some vocals to ‘If You Return’ from his solo project Maximum Balloon. And now Big Boi will be producing one of Little Dragon’s songs for his new album, after a certain Andre 3000 tipped him off. As if that wasn’t enough, they appear on Rafael Saadiq’s new album adding vocals to the sublime summer track ‘Just Don’t’.

Ritual Union the single will be release 25th July, with the remix EP to follow on the 15th August.

Kasper Bjørke’s upcoming mini-LP ‘Fountain of Youth’ bends genres such as classic house, electro, post disco and techno, into his own melting pot of late night jams - created entirely for the dance floors. It´s Kaspers joyous return to clubland, after focusing his previous album productions on song oriented compositions, suitable for home listening rather than the clubs. We can´t wait to share it with you!

Before that, ‘Cloud 9’, leading single from ‘Fountain of Youth’ is arriving with a remix package, as always handpicked by Kasper himself.

‘Cloud 9’ comes in two original versions: An instrumental version, that with its dreamy analoge OB-8 pads, haunting melancholic bell theme and 808 breakbeats surely will take you back in time. The vocal mix features Urdur from Icelandic band GusGus. Urdur delivers an infectious hookline, with a clear reference to the 90s vocal house scene.

Weval, soon to release their debut album on Kompakt, provides a stunning and brilliantly different take on the original, refocusing the vibe into a shuffling, lo-fi jam, complete with their signature sampled, pitched vocal bits.

The Italian duo Marvin & Guy, known for their jams on John Talabots Hivern Discs and most recently on Correspondant Records, brings a beefy, chugging Italo vibe to their main version with a classic arpeggio synth anthem. Marvin & Guy’s Dub Remix is pushing the simmering melodies into a dreamy climax - and is a sure shot for the open air sunset slots this summer.

On May 17th, Moby will release 'Wait For Me. Remixes!', an album consisting of reworked versions of tracks from the critically acclaimed 'Wait For Me', released through Moby’s label 'Little Idiot' last year. Moby has enlisted some of dance music's biggest names for the project including Tiesto, Laidback Luke, Gui Boratto, and Carl Cox.

The track Deep Inside was the only track that did not emerge from the "Summer House sessions" in the winter of 2009.  The first version was done as one of many ideas for Earth's track "Why you Wanna" later to be released on Gong Ho Records.  As Earth selected some other solution to her track an instrumental version was dropped for later thoughts.  At one of Daniels visit to the studio we where searching through some demos to see if any could be of use.  We picked this one and did some further experiments with it, adding the base line for example.  Much later Högni arrived at the stage adding his bit. Here are both these version, the original instrumental and the version that came out of the "With Daniel" experiments.
