False Identity is the dj project of Arnaud B, an activist on the Brussels underground scene for almost 20 years. 

He started collecting vinyls and djing at the beginning of the history of techno and participated in many projects always in an alternative and anarchist spirit. 

He currently manages the Deviate label and parties in Brussels and collaborates with many artists from the industrial, ebm and electro scene.

FALSE IDENTITY

The centennial podcast of this series is brought to us by Morah. At some point in his career, the dark prince of Athens and resident of the Phormix label and event series achieved a unique and iconic status with his unconventional take on gritty electronic music that transcends genres. The first time we experienced this in the flesh was in the old Griessmuehle location on the Sonnenallee in 2019 and were blown away.

Whether it was his debut release on Helena Hauff's label, or the many life-changing performances over the years that are well-documented, his body of work speaks for itself as he graces labels such as Berceuse Heroique, Vanila, Brokntoys, Lux Rec, and most recently on Body Musick as well as a self-released album called Zesta. He's captained the Phormix event series as a resident and is a core part of the Athens crew whose label boasts some of the most exciting releases coming out. He's added another time-lasting performance to his list during the most recent DT Camp two weeks ago. It should be no surprise that we invited him as a special guest for our ADE event together with Pinkman Records on October 19th and can't wait 

These are trying times for all with many significant global events taking place almost daily. With this as the backdrop, we hope this series has brought some enjoyment. Thank you very much to the artists that have contributed to the series over the last two years and to the listeners for tuning in every week. We look forward to seeing all of you on the dance floor. The fourth collection of cuts from Various Artists of The Black Lodge multiverse. The first sound offering on side A comes The Poetic Painter M, an avatar of Chicago pioneer and visionary Traxx, aka Melvin Oliphant III, head of Nation Records and sub-labels Kode & Dirty Blends. A2 comes from Chilean born sonic explorer Pablo R. Ruiz, who resides in the sacred lands of Detroit and has a number of releases on Portage Garage Sounds. The flip side begins with an acidic banger from Midwest producer/engineer Grey People who has numerous releases on great labels such as Frigio Records, Valcond Video, Public System Recordings, and others. B2 is an experimental mind-bender from Bay City, Michigan artist Fashion Flesh aka John Talaga, a true gear head who makes his own electronic equipment, oscillators, generators, sound toys, and modulators and has released on cult labels such as Unknown Precept and Fit Sound (Est. 83'Records), among others. The EP ends with a beautiful piece defying genres from Fauna53, a collective of electronic artists from Italy, headed by Asymmetrical who runs Raw Culture Records).

Devil Dancers is a 20 track storytelling compilation of experimental minimal wave and punk electronics.The title is a tribute to one of our favourite tracks by Oppenheimer Analysis (OA - Andy Oppenheimer and Martin Lloyd) that was originally self-released in 1982 on a cassette entitled "New Mexico" recorded at the height of the Cold War and home-taping boom. 

A deep exploration through experimental and industrial fields featuring a lot of new and well known faces: Devil Dancers goes further in the label references, while Alan Harman, Panoptique, Helen Island (Violent Quand on Aime) and Le Matin show that the future is also bright for minimal synth. 

Experimental music by Bound by Endogamy, Religius Order, Legion 808 and LostSoundBytes to set what is cool in industrial music.-
