Julian Bohn is a German pianist and producer based in the Netherlands. He creates genre-crossing music for adventurous listeners longing for authenticity and acceptance. His music is carefully created and curated, like a soundtrack for your everyday life. 

Feels Like Home, his upcoming debut album, was crafted in collective solitude of the lockdown and still represents a celebration of collaboration, with an international line-up of 11 musicians from the United States, England, Germany and the Netherlands who recorded in their individual home studios.  The songs are brimming with warmth, while poignantly addressing some of the themes all of us were confronted with last year: loneliness, belonging and having a place to come home to, and fear in the face of a growing climate crisis. At times the music feels wide open, moments later becoming close and intimate, as if the musicians are playing in your living room. You always feel the curiosity and openness of a bandleader that rejects being bound by certain genre lines and prefers to channel his younger self for inspiration, trying to create music that gives him the same exhilarating feeling his music-hungry 17-year-old self got when first falling in love with the craft. 

At the moment he’s putting together a live band to transform the music into a live experience.  As a producer, Julian Bohn is currently working with artists like FRÉ, XILLAN and the Ugandan singer Maurice Kirya.

From a modern architectural experimentation made to rethink the organization of spaces, the large housing complexes modified our urban landscapes. Cold, atypical and monolithic structures, hard to ignore when you roam the big cities’ streets, even more in their peripheries.

This cold and rough look, as impressive as omnipresent, inspired the composition of the 5 tracks on this EP.

Indie Rock 'n' Roll all the way! I'm proud to carry on my family's musical legacy with my brother Jamie on drums. 

My name is Nick Swettenham and I’ve been a musician all my life. Our late father Geoff and uncle Peter were part of the late 60s Rock ‘n’ Roll movement. Signed by The Beatles back in 1968 with their psychedelic band 'Grapefruit' (named by John Lennon) they’ve inspired me to get my music out to the world. 

Growing up as a teenager in the 90’s I was a huge fan of the Britpop era, as well as other great bands and artists 
 from around the world. Radiohead, Oasis, The Stereophonics, The Verve, Blur, REM, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Smiths, The Cure, The Stone Roses, Smashing Pumpkins, Fleetwood Mac, Neil Young, Travis, Coldplay, Counting Crows and so many more artists have been a huge influence in my sound.
