Calls are flooding in, there’s a racket and a din

Trouble At The Station

A seagull frames the planes crossing the sky.
The kids-a-playing, waves-a-rolling, breeze is floating by.
Because people that you don't know can't exist.
You tried to think about it but it slips between your fingertips. 

You see lack of logic in a child.
Climbing up in spaces which will leave them stranded way too high.
There's just no way that them people can exist.
That plane supposedly contains three hundred different consciouses.

A cuckoo waits.
For the warmer days.
To place his egg in a nest.
A cuckoo knows,
What the best birds know.
What the others think to themselves.

A malady, a crosshair on your eyes.
The cuckoo steals some egg to eat, he's unaware of passers by.
You know how much each thing can mean to you.
Well every glint of light in eyes, shines filled with others like that too.

The sun is finally spending some time.
In our particular region of this earth that sits underneath sky. 
There's just no way anyone else exists.
You try to bring it up but those other people, they do insist. 

A cuckoo waits.

Modes About Me is a genre-defying trio from Niagara Falls, New York, known for blending alternative rock, pop, hip hop, and acoustic elements into a cohesive, emotionally charged sound.

The project began as a solo creative outlet for Mark, who started writing and producing music that didn’t fit neatly into one category. What started as a personal side project soon grew into something bigger when he recruited his childhood friends, Dave and Miller, both long-time musicians who shared his passion for experimentation and emotional honesty.

Together, the trio shaped a sound that thrives on contrast — heavy yet melodic, structured yet fluid, vulnerable yet powerful. Their music draws inspiration from the energy of Niagara Falls and the emotions of modern life, exploring themes of self-discovery, mental health, love, and resilience.

Modes About Me’s songs shift naturally between genres — from guitar-driven rock and soulful acoustic moments to rhythm-infused hip hop textures — while always staying true to their core identity. With every release, the band continues to push the boundaries of what alternative music can be, carving a distinct sound that’s deeply human and refreshingly original.
