The city of San Francisco has nurtured many talents throughout the decades,
and Telli Prego is one the best and brightest.  An extraordinary performer and producer, with a versatile voice and natural musicality, he he has separated himself from the pack.  With his debut album, Mouthpiece Over Matter, he shines and sheds light on the ever-so-talented, but often ignored, SF Hip Hop scene.

Born and raised in the Sunset District, Telli Prego (Gas Mask Colony, The 
Blacksmiths, Outbound) is an emcee, producer, and 
glimmer of hope in a dim and cluttered music market.  From both sides of the boards, he redefines his own unique brand of west coast slap with every effort.  With his knowledge of music and cutty street lore, he pushes the boundaries moving into the future, while still preserving the styles of the past.

Whether teaming with Heat on "Home" (Farewell To Candlestick)", Bay Area legend Mike Marshall on  "Kill The Lights", or producing an endless stream of
 slumpers as half of The Blacksmiths, Telli continues to prove he can 
step into any role and crush it.  On stage and in the studio, Telli 
Prego is an artist with unparalleled integrity and style. Mouthpiece 
Over Matter is already considered a classic by many.  A few years down the line this may no longer be up for debate.
