‘don’t wanna feel’ is a song about when my dad left and the abandonment issues I developed from that, it was a really rough time for me at first but over time I realised that it was for the better after information about his behaviour was revealed to me, I still suffered from abandonment issues and I didn’t want my partner to leave like my dad did, this song goes between me singing about my dad and my experiences to the chorus talking about how I wanted my partner to ‘stay by my side, till I die’ I didn’t want to feel at that point of my life, it was a lot for me, this song is very personal and is actually my first full song :)
