Blending together European electronics with the sounds of the Middle East and beyond, Gal Kadan's music is a representation of his homeland - a consistent tension between future and past, love and war, east and west. His latest project, "Awesome Orientalists From Europa", is dedicated to re-issuing overlooked Electro and Disco dance floor tracks that sound Oriental, but were actually made by Westerners. By remixing and editing these obscure, unknown gems Gal is using his music to question politics, identities and borders in today’s European world of constant migration and round the clock partying.

Residing in Berlin since 2018, Gal has toured Europe extensively playing gigs in top venues across the continent and sharing the DJ booth with the likes of Acid Arab, Carrot Green and Zozo as well as releasing edits on Hard Fist records and Jonny Rock's Hamam House imprint.
