DRZ is quickly emerging as one of the most exciting names in drum & bass. Hailing from Reading, UK, he’s taken his sound from major homeland cities, such as London and Bristol, across international waters. 

With escalating presence headlining European and Asian shows, he’s cementing his unique influence amongst global audiences. In the studio, DRZ showcases a diverse production style, uniting his love for both heavy and euphoric melodies, with his standout single of 2025, ‘What I Do’, surpassing 300,000 streams across all platforms in just 4 months. 

This year alone, he has also received DJ and playlist support from DNB heavyweights, notably Sub Focus, Pendulum, Circadian, A Little Sound, and more, only confirming his place as ‘one to watch’ in drum & bass. With major releases on labels such as Universal Music Group, CruCast, DNB Allstars, STMPD, and others, he is gaining vast recognition in the scene. 

Propelled by a clear direction in his music, DRZ continues to define his sound and expand his reach across the drum & bass community.

reDifine (Nick Toogood) is a dance music producer from Surrey who creates most electronic styles.

Nick has always had a keen interest in music since a very young age, learnt to play the piano and guitar, which later progressed into professional synthesizers, samplers and other widely used studio equipment. After completing music studies at gcse level, music technology at AS level and a music production advanced course, he went on to spend many hours self teaching and working on his skills of production. 

Nick has played in many well established bars and clubs in and around London stretching from superclubs such as Ministry of Sound, Pacha, and The Egg, to smaller intimate bars including The Hoop and Grapes in Farringdon and The Watershed in Wimbledon. Playing regularly for well known promotion companies such as Too Damn Glam, Electronic Sessions, Plastic Fondu, High Definition and Lose Control, reDifine is vast becoming an extremely experienced artist in the scene!

With a range of genres being thrown into the mix reDifine's clever energetic sets give the audience the latest in underground and commercial dance music.

After a year at the award winning music production college Point Blank in Shoreditch, London, his productions are fast becoming professional pieces of art and are progressing leaps and bounds by the day, so be sure to keep an eye out for his latest pieces of work. No doubt reDifine will be a name to look out for in the near future!

Born on Road is a Bristol-based record label and DJ collective firmly rooted at the heart of drum and bass and jungle’s underground music scene. Since being established in 2013, we’ve built a reputation as an eclectic outfit known for pushing good music. It doesn’t matter if it’s jungle, jump up, ragga or some sublime vocal work, if we vibe with it then we’ll champion it to the masses.

This is an attitude born from our history in the underground music scene, where the free-flowing energy of sound system culture formed the foundations of the label’s all-inclusive ethos. It’s the reason why we’ve quickly grown into a sprawling music family who all support one another’s careers. From stage takeovers at festivals including Boomtown and Glastonbury, to signing the most exciting homegrown talents, Born on Road are always looking for ways to drive forward the underground scene, along with the artists inside it.

We may be a new wave music label, but we adopt the old school approach of putting the music first before anything else. This journey has been an eventful one so far, but there’s still plenty more to come on the road ahead.
