For our last show before our winter break we've invited MOREL to our Modulate Studio! Get ready for two hours of superb techno cuts and grooves 

- No groove, No move -

MOREL, is a Sound Artist born in Santiago de Chile during the last toxic breaths of a military dictatorship. One divided country facing a strong period of radical inner struggles and hatred. A socio - political context that shaped a new generation of artists, that embodied an evolved and rare approach to arts & music.

He constantly navigates through a diverse spectrum of cinematic, fast and hypnotic grooves.
Inspired by his early experiences with music, being a drummer and cello player during his primary education, gave him a strong background on analog / classical and electroacoustic music.

For him groove is the essence of movement, of music. It's the synchronicity between our internal clock (heart) and the sounds present in our environment (external clocks) through vibrations (sound).

His approaches & techniques towards sound design and music production are based on the exploration of sound as a phenomena.

Nothing is good or bad, right or wrong, it's just the outcome of
experiencing sound and music through first hand information, trial and error. This never ending curiosity fuels his creativity of ideas that resonate to one concept :

Immerse the audience into a profound soundscape that triggers our instinct in the most primitive way.

Modulate is a online livestream show from Berlin.
The show consists of a roster of different artists, all with varied approaches towards techno and electronic music more broadly.
They unveil their sound to you - the listener - and even try to push themselves to deviate from their usual sound, providing
listeners with a unique opportunity to hear sets that differ from their usual repertoires.
You can follow this journey starting on the 29th of October at 7:30pm on our YouTube page with new iterations released on a fortnightly basis.
