I keep mine here mostly raw. Unpolished, rugged and stuff. And though my work might be far away from being perfect, at least it was crafted without any AI Input. It’s like I’m sitting in front of a heap of clay and I try molding it to moody little pieces.

John Musichead is a Belgian producer and DJ navigating between techno, electro, and experimental music. His tracks blend hypnotic synths, powerful rhythms, and immersive textures. Inspired by jazz, classical music, and rock as much as by electronic soundscapes, he creates an open universe where styles cross and merge.

I’m on this grind 24/7 people, come along for the journey. My page just showcases my development as I practice beat making every day. I just post the results up on here as soon as I finish a new one. 

This page mostly acts as a personal record of all the sampled music I’ve made over the last 15 years, since I got deep into my MPC's and started teaching myself. I just make what I feel and try to translate what’s in my head so people can hear it. I was exclusively using Koala Sampler for iPad since September 2023 but as of June 2025, I now own an MPC X Special Edition so all new beats from now on will be made with that like the old days! Please bear with me as I try to master a new tool! This also means my 2 year iPad and Koala Sampler phase has come to an end 😢 I hope you enjoyed the 1400 beats I made with it!

Having synesthesia, I see the colours, shapes, textures and movements of the sounds in my mind whenever I hear sound/music, plus scenes in my head. I try and use samples to paint and capture what I feel or want to say. I’m all about the feel.

Fortunately, in that place, I met the Scribes of Avalon who 'caught me on horse back tackling straps adapted for battle axe and 'songs' for an attack on the cattle I straggle from.' ( explained further in track descriptions)

Since then I believe I've found a more peaceful route towards unification.
