"AZANDOR" is supposed to be a music project that allows me to be creative in an open way. Whatever idea comes to my mind will find itself as a new song here on the page. The style may vary from folk to electronic ambient music to rock/ pop. Or a combination of all. Sometimes I simply like the sound of different instruments together and the new sound they create together triggers a new idea in my head that leads me to a new song ...or may be left aside for a while or may be completely dumped. In the end it´s the creative process that matters most and the joy I feel when something is finally finished and I am satisfied with the result.

I am a writer and a lyricist.  The poetry and lyrics I write are 100% from me:  My experiences, thoughts, dreams, recollections and memories.  I've been writing for nearly 20 years now, slowly transforming my poetry into music.

My music has been sampled by DJ Shadow on his 2003 release Diminishing Returns and covered by: Pink Flames (The Vinyl Factory 2016), Electric Child House (2017) and Astronauts etc (Backatcha Records 2019). Backatcha Records also re-released the early seventies psych-rock grail, Just A Star that I co-wrote with Larry Smith for UK Record Store Day 2019.
