Piff Records is back with a bang! The seventh release in the vinyl series sees the label teaming up with French producer Canse to deliver a techno tinged stunner of an EP, showcasing a variety of the producers expansive talent across 8 tracks. 
 
Canse has built a reputation among his devout following for delivering the highest calibre of dance music that urges you to get on your feet and groove. 'About That' keeps this promise, providing fresh energies and melodies from Canse's unique repertoire of sounds that makes this an essential in any music-lover's catalogue.

Basic Foundation compiles a pounding bassline with waves of gliding synths and trippy vocals to deliver a real late-night dancefloor masterpiece. There's no turning back on this one.

@denylbrook is a Happiness Therapy mainstay. From contributing to the imprint’s Happy House compilation to releasing his first full-length EP last summer, the Lyon-based talent has become an imprint favourite over the years. Now he makes a welcome return, serving up some of his best work to date on the six-track My Lovin’. The lead track will see the light of day for the very first time, having been played to widespread acclaim on worldwide dancefloors over the last few months.

Denyl Brook is swiftly becoming one of France’s most talked-about rising talents. Head of his own Silver Step Records, last month’s New Home EP marked the label’s second-ever release, whilst My Lovin’ sees him return to another firm favourite imprint in Happiness Therapy. He’s no stranger to Shall Not Fade also, having made several appearances in recent years, proving himself as a leading tastemaker in upbeat, club-geared dance music.

Jackuzzi (@jack_vh) takes up the next spot in our Hot Series. This jack-of-all-trades has embodied a varied but consistent sound throughout the years, with most of his inspirations coming from digging in some of our local record shops. Next to being a part of the Ezekiel Soundsystem DJ collective, he is also the founder of the Ezekiel 25:17 party concept. Apart from his collective, Jackuzzi distinguishes himself with his solo act, favoring a trip to the more progressive and minimalistic sides of the musical spectrum. Feeling a mutual connection through sound, our next guest didn’t hesitate to take part in the next Hot Series. 

After our first Hotbox night at Onder Stroom, a more mellow side of the Hotbox is explored in our sixth installment of the series. It starts off slow and catches you by surprise, slowly descending into the deeper territories… Jackuzzi goes through different genres, showcasing his recent diggs and current favorites. One hour of carefully selected records from his wax collection. This is 'GLBDOM Therapy', the latest Various Artists digital compilation from renowned imprint GLBDOM. Eleven sublime and assorted tunes are like eleven different pills meticulously curated for your listening and dancing pleasure.

SI-FI lands first with some gorgeous urban garage vibes, followed swiftly by HATT.D offering an absolutely blissed out deep house cut. Hurlee delivers some driving, hands in the air house business, before Luca Olivotto comes through with pure hands in the air four-four sounds. In at the fifth spot is Guizz providing pounding basslines and synths all underscored with sultry vocal refrains, while Paul Rudder steps things up a notch, supplying a gorgeous, breakbeat infused piano house number. Bress Underground step up with a melancholy and retro tinged stomper of a piece, and DJ LOOKBOOK takes a warehouse-ready '90s house bump, bringing the heat with some re-pitched vocals and rave style synths. Dan T is up next with an exquisite deep house beauty carefully layered with super airy vocal lines, before Sunny Galaxy comes through with a pad heavy tune incorporating a start to finish 80s feel. Finishing off the compilation is Peter LC, bringing things down nicely with a flawless, laid back chunk of deep house.
