this is something I came up with while i was messing around with some Nick Drake tunings with my Breedlove...... 
It's recorded with a Rode NT condenser mic into a Mackie 1402 VLZ Pro into a Delta 10/10 slaved to a Lucid GENx6 96 superclock into Reaper....this is my first time using Reaper and I really don't dig it but, it did the job..... 
Tuning is CGCFCE....................and capo 2nd fret...... like a D major kind of thing......I really like how the strings sing open....ya know? 
Bass is my cheap SX P Bass direct into the Mackie with a drop D tuning....

Squirrel jambalaya,poo-ya-ya,i can't get enough that's no lie

Got a menu with sex appeal
Her kissin' 'n huggin',and mighty sweet lovin'
Ya know that's a full course meal

Pork chops 'n brown gravy,you'd better save me,a second helpin' of that

When I was growing up and not more than a pup
I remember Mama taught me how to pray
She said there’s trouble and there’s strife in everybody’s life
But God is there each step of the way

So count your blessings not your troubles
Keep on going when you stumble
There’s a  rainbow after every thunderstorm
Light  a candle in the  dark 
Always comfort  broken hearts 
And let your life be like a rose among the thorns  

When the rose is in bloom the  thorns must make room
Or the rose must surely die
In a  world full of woe remember how the rose
Finds a way  among the thorns to survive
