'Verschwurbelt' is a German phrase I use to describe this style of Jazz. It's a slang word that means: complex, muddled or wooly. It's a word I think most accurately describes the sound.

So it's 'verschwurbelter Jazz' ... enjoy!

1) Tell us a bit about yourself and your record collection.

I'm DJ/Producer for over 20 years living in Jersey, Channel Islands... Recently release a track with Oxygen from SoundSci on Dinked45 Records, record collection mainly into hip-hop/funk/soul and reggae but have a very eclectic taste so won't rule anything out as you'll guess by the mix lol.  Been buying 7" on and off for last 10 years, especially been keen on finding the samples which have been used in hip-hop records for Djing, not fanatically about having the original but nice to have if can afford it :)

2) 45/7 is all about celebrating the 7". Can you tell us a bit about what you love about the format.

A lot more fun and challenging to DJ with as the tracks are finite time length to play, there's also the investment not only with buying the track but time spent tracking down something, alot easy with the internet now though.

3) One hour of vinyl goodness... can you talk us through your selection for your 45/7 mix?

To be honest, it was a bunch of tracks thrown together, nothing planned. Kind of wanted it to reflect parts of my dj sets that's all and records i like.

4) Where can people catch you / listen to your music? 

Can mainly been seen playing in Jersey at most of the bars, clubs and festivals in the Island, every so often get opportunity to play off island which is a bonus aswell.  Music can be found here:
