The Ride of the Valkyries is the second of the four opera, "Ring Cycle" by Richard Wagner.  It was written in 1851 and is one of Wagner's best known musical compositions.

Nothing Else Matters
In 1999 the band Metallica released a live recording of ‘Nothing Else Matters’ in cooperation with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra conducted by Michael Kamen. This version inspired Bocci to make this orchestration for band.

Pomp and Circumstance no. 2
Sir Edward Elgar wrote his Pomp and Circumstance March no. 2 in 1901 and dedicated it to the composer Granville Bantock. Although this second march is less known than the first, it is not less beautiful. A loud call for attention by the brass section is followed by a nice staccato theme with the woodwinds, completed by different instruments in a construction leading to the trio. This trio in major key contains a simple melody written in thirds played respectively by the woodwinds and the brass. The work ends with a short but powerful coda.

Overture
Egmont op. 84 was composed by in 1810 and is a set of incidental music pieces for the play of the same name by Goethe. It is certainly one of Beethoven’s greatest overtures. Beethoven was a great admirer of Goethe, and was honoured to have been asked to write the music for his play. At our request, Ton van Grevenbroek has orchestrated this wonderful overture for concert band.

Egmont Ouverture (arr. Ton van Grevenbroek) - Ludwig van Beethoven

This is the finale of Rossini's William Tell Overture. This section is also known as "March of the Swiss Soldiers." The popular rhythmic pattern is commonly associated with galloping horses both in cartoons and in real life.

This digital arrangement was based on the original score. Instrumentation consists of a piccolo, a flute, two oboes, two clarinets, two bassoons, four french horns, two trumpets, three trombones, timpani, a triangle, cymbals, and section strings.

All parts were recorded using EastWest/Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra.

The Belgian composer Marcel Peeters is really an all round musician. In this sunny medley Mexican Dances he arranged in a most skilful and original way a series of traditional Mexican themes you will, no doubt, easily recognize. The traditional 'Mariachi' music is flavoured in different rhythms. Here you have a fine opportunity to make a musical trip to a fantastic country with a rich culture and a most typical folk music tradition.

The company was founded in 1933 by Pieter Jan Molenaar under the name Molenaar’s Muziekhandel. In the 1970s, his sons Jan and Bob joined the growing company. The name was changed to Molenaar’s Muziekcentrale, and later to Molenaar Edition BV.
