My music is inspired by the electronic and psychedelic heroes of the 70s and 80s - Faithless, Pink Floyd, Klaus Schulze, Massive Attack, Peter Gabriel, Seal, Enigma, Sting, Depeche Mode, Hans Zimmer, Alan Parsons and many styles and artists in between.
And also there is lots of love for deep and groovy tech house and club tracks ...

Mollton erschaffen mit ihren Klanggebilden eine Verbindung zwischen Ambient, Chillout und Lounge. Daneben werden den Stücken noch popartige Elemente einverleibt, die die einzelnen Tracks sehr luftig und leicht erscheinen lassen. Eingebettet in diese synthetischen Klanggerüste, sind collagenartige Fragmente aus Soundtrack –und Geräuschelementen. Walgesängen gleich, schweben immer wieder atmosphärische Gitarrenläufe durch den relaxed -pulsierenden Klangkosmos den melancholischen Visionen entgegen. 

Das bis dahin offene musikalische Projekt der ursprünglich drei
Musiker, Tom Orkana zuständig für Sounds, Produktion und Keyboards,
Fred Luuft an den E-Gitarren und Peter Cantochini ebenfalls an Keyboards,
die auch an anderen Projekten, sowie an Musik für Film und modernen Tanz
zusammenarbeiten, bekommt 2009 den Namen MOLLTON.  
2012 erscheint das Debüt Album „Bridges“ 

With their sound formations, Mollton create a connection between ambient, chillout and lounge. In addition, pop-like elements are incorporated into the pieces, which make the individual tracks appear very airy and light. Embedded in this synthetic sound framework are collage-like fragments of soundtrack and noise elements. Like whale songs, atmospheric guitar runs float again and again through the relaxed, pulsating sound cosmos towards the melancholic visions.

The hitherto open musical project of the original three
Musician, Tom Orkana responsible for sounds, production and keyboards,
Fred Luuft on electric guitars and Peter Cantochini also on keyboards,
who are also involved in other projects, as well as music for film and modern dance
work together gets the name MOLLTON in 2009.
In 2012 the debut album “Bridges” was released
