Waking up in the middle of the night, feeling the gentle touch of moss on your bare skin and overwhelmed by the eery yet calming atmosphere of unknown surroundings. A location no one ever goes to, a destination unreachable by common means, but a place blurring the lines between having a dream and a state of mind. Welcome to Talabout.  

Stavroz managed to create a wholesome, comforting soundtrack for a place, which no words can describe. Take a rest, lay down, close your eyes and listen to a story told in an orchestral fashion, with such profession and ear for details like Luise never heard before. We are deeply impressed and thankful alike to be able to present this musical masterpiece. A heartly welcome to Stavroz, everyone.

Luca Musto - Ticon

Days are disappearing and nights are taking over. We witness a burst of colour just before it clears space for the bright white blanket. And this new season brings another Amselcom release.

Sweden’s Victor Norman is guided by the signs of the time in his extraordinary track “Hymn”. He gently unites depth and gloom with fragile melancholy to form a moving and sensual track.

Bernstein and Birds of Mind attend to the original, each concentrating on a different characteristic. While the former adds drive to underline the verve of the tune, the French duo intensifies the melodic and frisky side of the track.

To round off the release, Victor teams up with slowmo specialist Harro Triptrap in a hot turn. “Mimikry” first appears to be a peaceful creature, but its rogue character eventually shows itself.

Winter treats us to storms and nights of fire. And these feelings are captured by the photographer Xiao Yang, adding the perfect optical surrounding to the release.

They say we are a product of our environment, you are what you eat and you reap what you sow. But what happens when you can no longer dig the earth and your food is toxic?

Amselcom has forever been near the forefront of change, exposing new ideas and giving insight through music and creativity. Our goal was always to bring the world closer by removing barriers and letting sounds and rhythm demonstrate humanity's true, loving nature. That is why a transformation has taken place and with this latest release we hope to give back and contribute without the shallow, meaningless compensation that feeds the music industry. 

Geplantes Nichtstun demonstrates this concept perfectly, by saying it is time to remove ourselves from the machine and make our own way, in our own time. These tracks look to offer introspective that can only be found after eliminating barriers like money and fame. Taking time for idleness lets us forget about the things that try and control our lives, a necessary respite in a time of increasing global noise. 

Tracks like Opak offer the perfect accompaniment to a quiet time of soulful reflection and Mario Wagner's wonderful Control Room image brings us the idea of self direction and taking charge of your own destiny… one rest at a time.
