now we are in the surreal
we are crossing the threshold of the gate
familiar sounds both modern and classic

with this bad hombre as our guide we step into the unknown
on edge with excitement, not nerves
bad hombre makes no sounds yet its constant presence reminds of something bigger than ourselves
like a tree falling in the woods only those around it experience the sound
so too are we just existing in our mind unless our experience is shared with others
