Young upstart and Preston based producer Taneli has been causing a sizable stir over the past twelve months, with a series of fine free downloads via The Fat! Club and Preston based new music oasis Thump; as well as his much loved Positivity EP for Group Hug Music.
He is now ready to release a his three track You [U] EP for Transmission Audio.

Lead track You [U] displays his talent for molding the sweeter sounds of UK house music with the tougher elements of garage to create the hybrid of choice in club land right now. There’s also a stripped back ‘Tool Edit’ from Taneli to accompany as well.

Finishing off the release is Groove B, switching things up percussion wise with some harder edge garage vibes, seriously catchy top lines and soulful vocal cuts.

Not saying that the music he put out before this heartbreaker of an EP isn’t dope, but all the tracks on ‚Fade’ are just divine. Reaching out to 90s house but looking into the future of that exact genre, he creates soulful dirty filthy hi hat and bassdriven music that opens hearts, forces smiles and moves bodies both vertical and horizontal. All 5 original productions do in fact play the rules and they should.

I heard this in Disclosure's XLR8R mix and simply had to put together a version for my live sets -- here I've adjusted the EQ a bit, flew in some kick reinforcements and tried my darndest to make this something you're happy to keep in the record box.

After establishing itself as an influential promoter in the UK Bass scene, the collective Aliasizm signify their move into the label game with the release of a six-track compilation EP, conveniently titled ‘Alias’. It acts as an embodiment of the exciting sounds and producers that are arising from the new house revival that Aliasizm are pushing as of now, with support and kind words coming courtesy of influential DJs and tastemakers such as Hannah Wants, MistaJam, Breach & Roska.

The release weaves in and out of the techno-leaning vibe of Oflynn’s club-ready smash entitled “Mantle”, through to the smoother old-school sounds of Cambridge-based producer Luminaire.
