A piece of Electronic Dance Music is usually described as a production. However, in the case of Seth Schwarz the word composition seems to be just much more appropriate. For many years the multi- instrumentalist dedicated his life to classical music – and that is very noticeable when listening to his highly melodic arrangements. Together with various talents from the 3000Grad environment he created an EP that draws its power from a unique feeling of multidimensional complexity. The interplay with Mollono.Bass is an ever-growing stream of escalating melodies and ecstatic filter sweeps that leaves the dance floor in blissful rapture and the DJ with the question how to keep up this extremely high level of energy. The epic soundscape of Dole & Kom provides the perfect setting for weightless violin entries, and the musical excursion with Bebetta leads through a glistening downpour of hi-hats to a mystic horizon.

Wenn es um elektronische Tanzmusik geht, ist normalerweise von Produktionen die Rede. Aber im Falle von Seth Schwarz ist Komposition einfach die bessere Beschreibung. Der Multi-Instrumentalist hat sich viele Jahre mit klassischer Musik beschäftigt, und das ist in seinem melodischen Sound nicht zu überhören. Now d:vision are proud to be releasing an exclusive remix of one the most hyped records of the past twelve months courtesy of Moonwalk, the italian duo who have previously released on Solomun’s Diynamic, Get Physical Music, Hot Since 82’s Knee Deep In Sound, Tube & Berger’s Kittball, and Riva Starr’s Snatch! Records.
Mauro & Dario step up with another epic and glorious remix of ‘The Sounds Of Silence’ that is nearly seven minutes of captivating tech house, deconstructing then rearranging the song into something profoundly textured and moving, with rubbery drums, deep bassline, echoey percussion and sensuous tweaked vocals.
This is a standout and emotive track that is set to become one of the anthems of Ibiza’s 2016 season.

Switzerland based, Kosovan born DJ/producer Sabb is an artist whose presence and maturity in the studio seems to develop with every release to which he puts his name. His production pedigree was quickly identified by some of the scene’s most respected tastemakers, with early outings on Matthias Tanzmann’s Moon Harbour, Nic Fanculli’s Saved Records and Noir’s Noir Music preceding remixes for the likes of John Digweed, Sasha, Hot Since 82 and Hector Couto.

His signature sound – a fluid mix of crisp drum grooves, chunky, overheated basslines &amp; pitched-down vocal sampling – has quickly won audiences over in their droves, a fact evidenced by 2014 track ‘Illusiones’ becoming one of the season’s most Shazam-ed tracks in Ibiza.

Fast forward to February 2015 and Sabb was ranked the second most charted artist on Resident Advisor, which immediately saw him tapped by Rumours boss Guy Gerber. The first of two quick-fire singles, ‘One Of Us’ ft. Forrest, then followed on Moon Harbour in June, featuring a notable remix from the legendary Dennis Ferrer – a record heavily backed by BBC R1 tastemakers Annie Mac &amp; Pete Tong amongst others.
The release went on to feature at #60 in Mixmag’s top 100 tunes of the year, while his recent release on Suara, ‘Condor1’ alongside Lee Van Dowski broke the Beatport Top 20 earlier this year.

Having also played some of the world’s most iconic clubbing spaces; from Space in Miami, Pacha and Cielo in New York, Blue Marlin in Dubai and Hive in Zürich, not to mention a residency at Pacha Ibiza, Sabb’s stock as a DJ continues to rise indefinitely.

By the end of 2015, Sabb was ranked as one of the highest charted artists of the year on Resident Advisor, perfectly setting the scene for a landmark year in 2016. And with a packed touring schedule, including upcoming gigs at Watergate (Berlin) and Hive (Switzerland), and releases on highly respected labels Moon Harbour, Saved and Circus over the coming months, Sabb looks to further cement his deserved place among electronic music’s elite.

The 28th Chapter sees Djuma Soundsystem team up with Westerby for our latest story in sound: the cosmic afro tech of ‘Disambigua’.

Now based in Copenhagen, Norwegian artist Djuma Soundsystem was catapulted into the public's consciousness over a decade ago with his club classic 'Les Djinns' on Get Physical Music. His organic, sample-heavy signature sound is the perfect combination with fellow Copenhagen artist Westerby’s rougher, analogue synths and techy edges.

‘Disambigua’, their much-anticipated follow up to smash hit ‘Koma Kobache’ (Get Physical), is a standout cut which is already turning heads on dancefloors across Europe with its dark groove and killer vocal hook.

Rising star Jonathan Kaspar (Objektivity, Pets Recordings) is first up on the Editions, where he takes things deep. Built around the interplay of synth lines in call and response, his rework is a pure bass monster.

Meanwhile, label regular KatrinKa marks her latest release on Chapter 24 with an Edition that places the emphasis on a trademark infectious groove, paired with a spiritual melodic motif; a perfect balance of darkness and light.

The package is rounded out by Aaaron. The in-demand producer has worked with everyone from Defected and Get Physical to (more recently) Connected and Yoshitoshi. He focuses on deep, powerful drums in a version heavy on tension.

With this latest Chapter there can be no doubt: four different flavours of ‘Disambigua’ which together add up to a clear and coherent whole.
