Hailing from The Netherlands, Manu Zain contributes yet another mesmerizing release to Silk Music with "Entrainment Pt. 1." Each track is an invitation to wonder and reflect, entrancing us with delicate textures, sublime melodies, and profound atmosphere that is full of both yearning and joy.

As the first track of Manu Zain's EP, "Entrainment Pt. 1," "Stay Close" (feat. Patrick Baker) envelopes listeners and compels us to enter another world. Patrick Baker's vocals lilt upon a minimal backdrop of echoing drums and atmospheric pads, progressing through a spectrum of tones and emotions that are equal parts melancholic and consoling. "Ocean Drive" opens with harmonic synths, subdued arpeggiators and choral pads that frame the track as blissful departure from the ordinary. It's made all the more uplifting when Manu Zain seamlessly introduces a four-on-the-floor rhythm that drives the euphoric sounds to ever greater heights. "Will You Be There" sets its sights beyond the horizon as delicate bells, angelic synth layers and the organic chords of an acoustic guitar fill the listener with wonder. To conclude part one of his "Entrainment" release, Manu Zain constructs a serene environment full of texture and melody with "Berlin." Relying only on the dynamics of composition and atmosphere, the track offers a restorative intermission not only from the uplifting rhythms found elsewhere in the EP, but also between the world we know and the one that Manu Zain is revealing.

We already look forward to hearing where Manu Zain takes us in "Entrainment Pt. 2" when it releases later this year.

Closing out the release, Stendahl, an extraordinary Russian musician and Silk veteran, once again reveals his newfound passion for melodic chillstep. The gorgeous synth and piano themes from the original permeate the blissful soundscape; Stendahl has also contributed an infectious, pitched-down vocal sample and a relaxing, yet head-bopping groove.

The debut artist album of eleven.five, the Virginia native who we affectionately know as Eric Fox, has truly been a lifetime in the making. We, at Silk Music, have had the privilege of co-piloting the last five years of eleven.five's musical journey, as his memorable lead themes and innovative grooves have found their way into the hands of Above & Beyond, Armin van Buuren, and various other esteemed international purveyors of house, progressive, and trance. His triumphant "When People Become Numbers" artist album continues to showcase his immense musical creativity and versatility. Following the wonderful "Different Us" EP on our label, Russian artist Stendahl joins forces with fellow Russian singer and producer Jama on the two-track EP "Follow Me," featuring two inspired chillout and downtempo cuts.

The title cut, "Follow Me," begins with soothing and memorable notes, which are later accompanied by a calm breakbeat and Jama's stunning vocals. Numerous exciting elements emerge as the track progresses, namely subtle arpeggios and lush pad layers. "Angel" takes off with an array of brilliant piano notes, which are only enhanced and built upon as the song progresses. Well-crafted percussion elements and Jama's vocal put additional texture atop the already captivating atmosphere.
