Experimentation and sound research have always been key points of growth in art and music of Claudio PRC. Raised in a small Sardinian town (Italy), he has always been in close contact with all kinds of music but the influences received by the strong Techno wave coming from Detroit and the special attractions for Concrete and Electroacoustic music definitively marked the development of his current musical ideology. The experiences that derive from his personal observations in the field of Electroacoustic music are combined with the continuing study of lean and simple rhythmic structures. His feelings and adventures turn into deep and hypnotic atmospheres that are intertwined with abstract and sharp rhythms. Claudio releases music on German label Prologue and also appeared on labels such as Aconito Records and Stroboscopic Artefacts. His DJ sets are characterized by the same concept that distinguishes his music and range from complex Ambient to sophisticated Techno.

Acronym (@4cr0nym) has been releasing some of the best techno, dub and ambient music in recent memory, with three albums, over a dozen EPs, and a handful of collaborations out since 2012. A Swedish artist closely affiliated with Abdullah Rashim, most of his early work came out on the Northern Electronics label, but he’s now releasing via his own imprint, Stilla Ton. He sends us this podcast in anticipation of his appearance at The Bunker at Market Hotel on Saturday, March 23 2019 where he will be performing his deeply twisting live set alongside a live set from tdel and DJ sets from Bunker NY label artist Marco Shuttle and Brooklyn electro expert Amourette. One last mix to end the year. When Svreca sent me this set, he could not have known what it would mean to me. I have spent so much time looking back lately, reliving old discussions and re-imagining moments passed, often lamenting how much was lost along the way. In just under three hours this mix communicates the flow of years. An archived recording from a special memory, it reminds me that the passage of time is beautiful even in what it fades away. Listening to it, I become lost completely, as though I am everywhere at once.
