Steve has been DJing for about 23 years now.  Playing a variety of styles throughout the years Steve has now found the sound of Jackin' House and has never looked back. Progressing from djing and doing live remix sets, Steve now produces the Jackin' House music that he loves. Signed to such labels as Greenhouse Recording, Midwest Hustle, Craic House Recordings and Jackin.RU, you will be seeing a lot more of Steve in the music scene.

(Since I'm writing this myself I shouldn't use too many superlatives I suppose. That would be a bit suss. Mental note: words that are good- “good”...ummmm, maybe “great”. If called for)

Incidentally, I was just thinking- it miiiight have been better to pay someone else to do this- y'know, say nice things, draw dubious but impressive comparisons to great labels, generally concoct a lot of flim-flam for the cut-and-pasteables.

Chris is the New Zealand and Australia online resident for deepRESPONSE, a more deeper sound but still with a jackin twist, whist Steve takes care of onlineclubber.com from Home Bar in Auckland, playing his signature sound of jazzy jackin house with elements from his hip hop days, sheer dope house :-))

Steve also has his own radio show jamming with the latest cuts of Jackin House.

Slum Peepz is a duo with a dream. A very simple dream, mostly involving nachos and whiskey, but a dream nonetheless. Their music is recommended by 4 out of 5 people that recommend things.

The illegitimate love-children of Strategy and Creativity. Now neither parent admits to having them…

Some say in the summer of 1944, Slum Peepz single-handedly captured 93 German soldiers during the Battle of the Scheldt in southern Holland. In February 1945, they were involved in an accident when a tank struck mine a military carrier they were traveling in. The Slumz claimed to remember a loud blast followed by their bodies being thrown into the air and smashed down on their back. One broke his back in three places, shattered both ankles, and four ribs, the other used his Jedi Mind Tricks to walk away completely unharmed apart from a small splinter in his pinky finger. A week later they left the hospital and soon joined up with their old command. In 1945, the Slumz played a large role in the liberation of the city of Zwolle, Netherlands from Nazi control. They also fought in the Korean War, where the Slumz won another Distinguished Conduct Medal for capturing and holding a key hill.

Their freestyle rapping career didn't work out, so they made a leap to House Music instead. With their sound naturally and artificially flavoured.

But are they really supposed to describe themselves? How shallow - decide for yourself who they are.
