In later years he has remained active, constantly on the rise, forming part of labels such as Truncate, Be As One Imprint, CLR, Pure Sonik, ANAØH and RSPX. He has gained support by such artists as Chris Liebing, Truncate, Radio Slave, Ben Sims, The Advent, Mark Broom, Honey Dijon and DVS1. Mark Sweeney aka @https://soundcloud.com/malhombretechno is a Glasgow born techno DJ and producer who is based in Leeds, England. Having Dj under is own name for many years in Central America ignited the passion for producing the genre and creating the MAL_HOMBRE alias.

With a host of previous releases under his belt, in 2021 Mark released a total of 40 total tracks on various labels. It was this year he aslo released his first album “Andromeda outpost” on Jeff mills’ Axis records, being the first ever UK producer to release an album on the legendary techno.

With his music continually supported at big techno events by Dave Clarke, Ben Sims, Joseph Capriati, Black lotus and Jeff mills was included in Dave Clarke’s top 10 producers for 2021.

Mark continues in 2022 with various other released lined up on Edit Select (4th time) and Illegal Alien from Mexico.

Después vino a Barcelona y, como Canon Rouge, dejó paso a su otra pasión, el Chicago house, pero como la cabra tira hacia donde tira, y a él le tira el electro, se enfrascó en un proyecto faraónico que no es ni un sello, ni un club, ni un festival, sino un fórum, un punto de encuentro en la red llamado Contacto Sintético, que se ha convertido en el punto de referencia del electro en España y más allá.
