In Sanskrit there is some nineteen additional meanings to the word OM and symbol ॐ. These include "Rakṣaṇa" or "OM as the protector", that which protects those who chant "OM". "Gati" means eternally moving, unstoppable motion. "Prīti" is "bliss or favourable disposition", with the OM as "possessor of bliss or Anand" - he or she who is "favourably disposed towards everybody".
