The music concept of MOOKYMUSIK Recordings is inspired by a music collective of like-minded musical friends, music lovers, and music collaborators.

"MOOKYMUSIK'S MUSIC MISSION STATEMENT"

Michael A Smith has been on a musical journey of personal healing of his mental health since 1996 with making and producing music. In 1996, at the age of 19 years old, he suffered from several drug addictions and spent 10 weeks in drug rehab.
Michael  suffered from drug induced psychosis, but after his traumatic experiences, he started  his own personal healing journey of self-discovery and recovery through making his own music for his mental wellbeing as a personal healing modality.

He wants to help inspire anyone going through the living hell he did with addiction and psychosis to create healthy addictions like listening to and making music.

Michael's hope is that his music will help guide the listener to their own their innate mental wellbeing.
