Things I shouldn't dwell on anymore, things that happened over 2 years ago, and yet they make me shiver like they happened last night.

skybreak was talking in his patreon chat about color bass and moonglow, and he said

It is sad how colour bass has been ‘abandoned’ as a genre but nobody’s stopping people from innovating / making it cool again + the roots and elements will and have spread to other genres

i think that reflects why i wanted to remix cryolite. i love color bass, and i dont wanna see it die out. i wanted to put my own spin on it, make the over generic genre more emotional, something that the listener can connect to, and i think the original cryolite did a great job of this.

moonglow is to me a constant reminder to always stay true to yourself and express what you truly feel, instead of doing what everyone else is doing. a reminder to walk your own path. at least thats what i picked up on it when i first heard it.

i relate to the lyrics of cryolite a lot too ngl

cryolite, but also moonglow as a whole is one of my main inspirations. to be able to take that listener through a journey, like a movie or a game, but instead of decorating space like paintings, i want to decorate time with music.

anyways, hope you like this new style of mine, and you can def expect more like this from me because i think this is a cool, not really explored style yet. color bass at 170 with half time drums, i like it.
