Soul Ex Machina is proud to announce its first vinyl release, featuring a hot three-tracker from Prague based producer with Slovak origins - EchoBoy. His background in digital reggae, as a former half of the Riddim Tuffa duo has clearly left its mark on the foundation of his current production. Delving in contemporary sounds from the deeper side of dubstep, infused with strong roots and dub influences, while keeping a steadfast focus on the current production standards. The EP is a testament to EchoBoy's skill as a producer, demonstrating his ability to weave together diverse elements into a cohesive result that is both innovative and deeply satisfying. The three tracks on "Roots of Dub EP" showcase his unique approach to his influences.

"Roots of Dub" is the first track on the EP, and it is a slow-burning masterpiece with a deep, rumbling bassline that gradually builds in intensity with each passing moment. The track draws inspiration from the rich tradition of dub music, with haunting melodies and subtle effects that create a hypnotic soundscape."We Lock Down The Block" is the second track on the EP. A heavy-but-soothing tune with a driving rhythm and powerful, deep and melodic bassline that will get any sound system shaking. The track builds up a meditative scape before the bassline drops in, hitting hard and leading the attention. Finally, "Chords Trip" takes a more minimalist approach, featuring ethereal melodies and sparse percussion that combine to create an immersive listening experience. The use of atmospheric sounds and effects creates a dreamy vibe, taking the listener on a journey through EchoBoy's unique soundscape.

The ground shaking sub-frequencies central to each track are built to challenge soundsystems and ignite dancefloors, whether it’s on the livewire rhythms of his jungle indebted track ‘Wicked Dub’, the driving sonic force of the drum and bass styled ‘Different Dub’ or the dubbed out, skank-ready movements of tracks like ‘Earthwalker’ and ‘Indra’. The A Side comes with a deep and meditative cut featuring the unmistakable voice of Fikir Amlak. ''Never Get Burned'' is a roots-infused anthem built for sound systems, followed by  a thundering dub version.

Flip the record and things get mystical. ''Sitar Dub'' brings in Lance Hume on sitar, weaving hypnotic eastern melodies into a deep bass meditation – again paired with a powerful dubwise version.
