[moosdohmen] is a producer of live modular dubs and drones. He combines dub, lo-fi ambient and drone elements to create his own blend. He performs with a 7U modular setup, Torso T1/S4, guitar FX pedals, and Elektron Syntakt and Pulsar 23 analog drum machines.

Since 2023 he has done modular livesets at Paradiso Amsterdam, Vondelbunker, Ruigoord, OT301, Modulation Utrecht, Dutch Modular Fest, Doka Amsterdam, Waveforms, Ruis Festival (with FreakedMusic), ElektrikCafe Arnhem, Zeeplab, POM Eindhoven, and in Berlin and Cologne, Germany. Together with Paul Alstein he did  live ambient dub sets in Amersfoort and Zeeplab. In the past few years he has done live streams for New York Modular Society, Colorado Modular Synth Society, and Modular World. He also did podcasts for the Ambient Vault and Data Cult Audio series.

Ambient drone artist from The Netherlands

Julien Chaptal is an electronic assembly — part French electronics, part Detroit synth machine, and part Dutch minimal. 

Purpose built with a modular brain, Julien’s improvised performances are switched on, live, utterly groovy, and while pulsating with machine wiring, undeniably human.

Chaptal's latest recordings were conceived after a few too many knobs were turned on his modular system, sending Julien tumbling through time and space to capture decades worth of dance floor musical influence before returning home. The musical journey — be it on a stage, by boat, or crafted in a camper van — brings together a vast musical landscape.

Chaptal’s hypnotic tracks are an intimate look at the intricate circuitry composing the logic behind electronic music, showcasing where it has come, where it is now, and where it will travel in the future.

dombles is one half of legendary noughties fluffy trance duo CERN who had a string of successful releases on labels such as Nukleuz, ASOT, Armada, Mondo and FiveAM.
