I can safely say I wouldn’t have the confidence and passion I do now without this station, it gave me somewhere I could meet people as nerdy as me, and it gave me my first real opportunities as a dj. Don’t want to get too sentimental, but yeah without 1020 fuck knows where I’d be now.

I’m joined by the one & only Fliss Mayo providing a sick guestie in the second half of the show. After catching her on NYE in Bristol, I clocked that she’s 1) possibly the nicest person I’ve met & 2) is an absolute champion selector, so you already know this mix is going to go. She’s also secured her Boiler Room debut later this month as part of Dual Monitor (@dualmonitor), so that really says all you need to know.

Founder of label - Taipan Trax UK - Phasmid, joins us for our latest ApeCast to cleanse our airwaves with electro, trance and a few bits in between. 

Phasmid has been bubbling in the UK underground music scene for a few years now, dipping into different genres and  aligning with up-and-coming producers. With the likes of Frazer Ray, Papa Nugs and other bright talents from the underground scene. The rapidly rising producer has cemented himself in the scene, playing all across the UK. He has also featured on high profile radio shows such as Rinse FM France, NTS Radio and has an upcoming Boiler Room in Bristol at the end of April.  Phasmid is also the brainchild and co-founder behind BabyStep Magazine.

We are over the moon to have such an exciting talent for our 48th ApeCast

The first one in the edit series E-NRF001 (out 25th May) comes from the head honchos on the imprint - Aidan Casey & Kane Edwards AKA No Results Found. 

We made these trax off the back of a sold out NYE party in 2022, which gave us huge inspiration to sit down and twist these edits of classic rave tunes into proggy piano trance/house party rave BELTAZZZ.
