DJ and radio host on Radio Z 95.8 Nuernberg/Germany (Radioshows “Limbo Rhythm” and “Headz”).

As DJ he has performed since 1992 in the Franconian surroundings, however, also in Berlin, Cologne, Munich, Portugal, Switzerland, Austria… Moreover he was booked for events such as the IFA International Radio Exhibition Berlin and the biggest European Youth Fair “YOU”, also in Berlin.
Dr.Best himself considers his roots in the Hip Hop Sound of the early 80’s to the mid 90’s, but he also dealt with other styles such as Funk, Soul, Acid Jazz, Trip Hop, Big Beat, House, Drum & Bass and Breakbeat. Over a couple of years he has been known in the German Clubscene as a Breakbeat-DJ, then in 2006, however, his style started to mutate… Styles such as Funk, Soul, Jazz, Hip Hop, Reggae, Latin, Afrobeat and Disco got mixed with his Breakbeat Sound and created a new mixture which cannot be easily tagged any more.

Bristol DJ and Producer Mista Trick is in a league of his own. Producing tracks, remixes and bootlegs from Lily Allen to Bobby Darin. With releases on Universal, Spearhead Records, Ragtime Records, Freshly Squeezed, Pashmount Music and Sony.  

He's performed all around the UK as well as Paris, Zurich, Barcelona, Lyon, Prague, Pilsen, Sofia, Burgas, Alicante, Grenoble, Vienna and Whistler.  

His festivals including Glastonbury, Festival Jyva'zik, Boomtown, Under The Hill, Nozstock, Swingamajig and Shambala.

Producing remixes for the likes of Dubioza Kolektiv, Jamie Berry, Sam & The Womp, Swingrowers, KD Soundsystem, Molotov Jukebox, Electric Swing Circus, Extra Medium, Scratchophone Orchestra, Phil Mac, Future Shape of Sound, Lamuzgueule, Kiwistar, Josh & Le Chat Feat Flechette.
He’s the curator and artistic director behind Under the Hill Fest and Little Pharma at Boomtown Fair.

Hey, Gareth here, I'm a graphic designer who start designing for clubs, parties, and labels in the late 90s. Back then, mix CDs were the holy grail of both design and music. I loved them.

But I wasn't the only one, mix cds were the soundtracks of our nights, our days, our afterparties and lives, for everyone. Yet in today's internet age, the art form has been lost (or just changed) to 2-3 hour online mixes and streaming videos, which just don't create the same magic your CD collection did. Just 60 minutes of music and incredible artwork.

The Classic Mix CD Series celebrates these discs, their soundtrack, their box art and your memories. We hope you enjoy it.

Digital creative type, gamer, music lover and occasional DJ. Currently living between Dubai & Seoul after setting sail from Sunderland in 2010.
