MORPHEMES are an Egyptian metal supergroup consisting of five members who hail from different bands across the Egyptian metal scene. The lineup consists of vocalist Muhammad Al-Wasat from Astra Abyssosque, rhythm guitarist Hassan Araby (Cooper) from Cairopathix, bassist Samer Rizk from Soundsmudge, drummer Abdullah Hesham from Riverwood, and lead guitarist Kareem Osama from Maddox Theory.

MORPHEMES formed in 2023 and released their debut single "VENOM" in early 2024, with a musical direction that blends metal-core with modern hip-hop. The song is an aggressive mix of live and electronic instruments, with a variety of vocal styles in each section, elevated by a top quality modern production that was assisted by Mahmoud Nader's mixing and mastering.
