After spending his youth in rock bands in the GDR/East Germany, Abu-Id began playing vinyl records in smaller clubs around Frankfurt and at his first festivals in 1998. To get rare records from the UK, he and a friend opened the Adore Record Store in Frankfurt in 2001, which became the first local source for UK Progressive House, Techno, and Breakbeat in the area.
In 2007, Abu-Id chose the Canary Islands as his new home, where he contributed to building the house and techno movement. He became a resident DJ at Club del Mar and Cacatua and co-founded the Pan-O-Rama Festival in La Gomera. In 2017, he teamed up with Celeste Love from Ibiza, forming the duo Celeste & Abu.Id to blend her downtempo style with his, creating extended, immersive audiophile dance journeys. As of 2024, he has been traveling, recently staying in Central America.

To date, he has played more than 150 radio shows and nearly 500 resident gigs, open-air events, and festivals. The purpose of his sets is to take the audience on a journey—starting in the depths and unfolding an unpredictable adventure of diverse tunes and rhythms. He strives to keep the experience exciting yet not exhausting, leading to peaks of ecstasy, joy, and hypnotic states of movement. His sets typically culminate in a smooth, playful landing, which is why they usually last between 3-4 hours. For his Ecstatic Dance sessions, he follows the same concept but in a more compact and selective format.

Berlin-based folk-rock band comprised of Ian Hooper (USA), Claudio Donzelli (Italy), and Craig Saunders (UK).

Bar stools, lampshades and kitchen utilities colliding with virtuos guitarplay, bold pianovoicings and warm string arrangements form the unique sound of the 25 year-old songwriter Jonathan Kluth. The roots of his music  can be found in gentle Folk, Americana oriented Blues and well-tried Rock 'n' Roll.
Growing up listening to artists like John Mayer and Kings of Leon, he found his own original style which strikes the balance between a passionate rockshow and fragile ballads, headlined by Jonathan's outstanding vocals. Through his music he tells his audience stories about hope, desire and his love of life but also how those can be crushed within seconds.
Jonathan had the pleasure of touring with several well-known musicians such as Tina Dico, Matt Corby and Hey Rosetta!. His passionate and authentic performances immediatly cast their spell over his enthusiastic audience.
In 2013 the hard-working Jonathan did not spoil himself with a break: in Febuary he founded his own label „Birdshill Records“ and released his second EP „A Life Of Its Own“ in April on which the more organic sound-experiment of his previous EP „Rooms“ (2012) melts together with the acoustic colors of his Lakewood guitar, tape-delays and strong drums and create a new impressive soundmonument. In addition to his record, which was produced in cooperation with his bassplayer Johann Seifert, Jonathan also released a live-EP taken from his Performance on the well-known Music-TV-Show „TV Noir“ in December 2012.
