Miguel Puente is back on Akbal Music to deliver an organic edge & mystical influenced record with some eerie sounds that will make you want to go on a Burning Man experience. ¨Anu¨ is the opening track that combines electronic sounds with ethnic vibes to create a monster jam. ¨Enki¨ is the second track of the EP and samples spiritual chants with a grooving bassline to create a unique mystical experience. All the tracks on this package have been tested in multiple dance floors around the world.

For the remix duties we have Hyenah, who has been causing some fuzz with massive releases on Freerange and Objektivity. His tracks have been heavily supoorted by Dixon, Black Coffee and AME to name a few.

Hyenah delivers two remixes for Enki, the first one called Epic Afro Remix, as the name says it´s an Epic journey with rolling percussions and a massive breakdown to create magic on festivals & open airs all around the globe this summer.

The second remix called African Techno Dub is a more driven percussive mental experience perfect to be played on every busy dance floor that will shake everyone on the club.

For our 9th premiere we are excited to debut a track from the third release on Axe Traxx, sub-label of London-based Axe on Wax Records. The vinyl-only, hand stamped VA features distinct tracks from label owner Fede LNG, Kid Mark, Hamsa International’s DJ Pegasuz and FTPup and Russian duo Ruff & Stax.

Fede LNG – ‘XX’ takes a closer turn to techno territory with a relentless distorted kick, noisy hats and jagged claps. The visceral quality and controlled chaos of the track will undoubtedly deliver late-night assaults to any warehouse, basement or hybrid of the two. The Man

I am a DJ and producer and I love electronic music! Originally starting off as a drummer, I fell in love with drum machines and samplers in the 90s. As a musician and multi-instrumentalist, the minimalist approach of electronic music is my real challenge. Taking a few elements and turning them into an interesting groove spiced up with melodic stories is my goal. 

My main genres are techno and house. But beware, I have a parallel life in more laid-back electronic genres. Apart from playing as a DJ, I also play live-sets ranging from ambient to breakbeat. Four to the floor music has been with me since the beginning of the 90s and inspires me again and again. I like to keep an open-mindedness to music and the creative process, and in that, bands like The Prodigy, Beastie Boys, Portishead and Kraftwerk are among the strongest musical inspirations I can think of.

As an Ableton Certified Trainer, I give workshops for all levels of knowledge. I am also the contact person for the local Ableton User Group where we regularly exchange over the latest - and sometimes oldest - topics of music production with the Live software.
