"Love, Sometimes" is exactly what we need for this  amazing summer:electronic bass, built on a  powerful drum and dynamics hi hats, generate a fantastic groove, and a fusion beetween  electronic, and classic instrument sounds;  The result is a pleasure trip  beetween electro,acid  house and disco, where the  amazing vocal of Ghostape find his natural musical place.

Mexican Duo Salon Acapulco  build an electro disco remix, really dark oriented with  obscure electronic mood and hypnotic  space synths inside.

New emerging italian talent Zaraudi, working  on a cosmic track with balearic  and spacey influences, playing guitar and bring the people directly toJuly-August " beach-dancefloors".

Bangkok Impact turn the original directly into an eclectic and elegant  disco-house summer track, using dreamy rhodes,a really deep funky bass,deep balearic groove,  and trippy analog synths.

Another EP with essential originator Neo Disco tunes!
LCD Soundsystem’s Nancy Whang, Munk, Peter Herbert and a balearic jam by two obscure German Disco lovers called: The GB’s.
It’s 2017 and suddently Disco vibes are everywhere again: From festivals like Dekmantel to the funky DJ style of opinion-leading DJ’s like Black Madonna or Mall Grab. From the never ending DJ Harvey hype to the massively increased disco edits vinyl market. Former techno DJ’s like Pachanga Boys, Dixon or DJ Koze suddenly release discoish mixtapes or funky remixes. If you went to a club in Berlin this summer the chance was big that instead of dancing to melancholic Deep House  you were stepping your feets to Disco Edits. The Disco vibe seems to take over House and Techno. 
And as Munk and the German Gomma label were among the first ones to release new styles of electronic disco a few years ago - it makes sense to  release some  essential stuff that started the wave.

LCD Soundsystem’s female voice Nancy Whang did a big disco tribute EP on Gomma 2013. New versions of classic tracks from the Casablanca records catalogue.( The classic disco label from the 1970ies). One of the 5 new interpretations was a french version of Steve Miller’s Like an eagle. This one is mad.

Belgique Disco innovators THE GLIMMERS remixed by Pete Herbert & Tristan de Cunha. A salsa piano disco house tune that will work heavy on baleric dance floors as well as on the harder clubs - when the nasty moment come in.

That Disco remix that was German Disco innovator Munk’s second big mover (after his collabo with James Murphy). 
The bassline! The piano solo! That voice!


The GB’s_ Lucky in Vichy. A 10 minutes balearic disco extravaganza. Smooth like a cocktail on an Ibiza beach. This one has never really been picked up in a bigger way, but probably that was good. No hype around that beautiful track.

Something Sanctified delivers an absolute gem with Direct Sunlight on new lable Citizens of Vice. Lush pianos carry us into melodic house heaven from beginning to end. Stunning indeed.


'Citizens Of Vice' is a new label that is not trying to take itself to seriously. For it's debut release it kicks off with a sampler that bookends it's musical demographic. Disco, House and Balearic vibes with a nod to the heady days that have inspired the labels creation. 'In Flagranti' kick things off with a rugged modern Disco affair. This is followed by our very own ode to the infamous Ibizan venue `Pikes'. Somethin' Sanctified follow with a piano heavy roller that will have hands in the air a plenty. Plastic Fantastic then slow things down with some seriously mellow vibes.. This release represents what we are about as a label and showcases four acts that encompass a sound template of where we will go on future releases.

From Beyond bolts across the sky faster than a speeding star and lands back at Paper Towers with another E.P. of analogue sounding & chest pounding cuts of deep disco sounds.

Protostar turns up the squelch-o-meter to high overload with a bit off a cosmic-ness sprinkled over s topping beat that altogether sounds like a lost Emperor Machine production.

Planetary Groove goes for a bit of sleaze and chug with an accompanying funk guitar & synth stabs to give us a bit of a ‘baggy’ electronic workout…you’re twisting my melon man etc etc.

Closing off the E.P. is Time Hop in all its electrons shimmying glory. Snappy, hooky but stripped back & straight forward. Ready to work the dance floor and start a party….big stuff!
