Resista is back for number 10 and this time we welcome Toby Tobias to the family!

Toby has been behind plenty of widely regarded records over the past decade, putting his hand to a large number of releases for labels such as Rekids, Delusions Of Grandeur, More Music, Let’s Play House and most recently ESP Institute.

Needless to say, Toby knows his way around the studio but he’s also equally adept when it comes to cutting and splicing, as you can hear on the title track of this special 12” for Resista, re-editing and embellishing this slice of pure sunshine. For the flip, Toby puts his production hat back on, building a deep, afro-influenced house track and deftly layering the same vocalist on top. Pure balearic bliss!

As always the artwork has been completed by the very talented Pedro Carvalho de Almeida. Vinyl Only.

Here is my Live set from The Earth Stage at the Oregon Eclipse Gathering on Thursday August 17th, 2017.  Sunset vibes from 8:15 to 9:30pm on a massive Funktion-one Soundsystem.  Had so much fun performing this, it was truly a highlight in my life.  Thank you to the event producers and all the people that were present for this moment and to all that listen currently!  Also Huge shoutout to Auric Medicine for their epic performance along with this set, Truly made it magic!

The “german jazz super group” (Süddeutsche / SZ) invited the famous singer and Gembri player Majid Bekkas, who is singing and playin his Gembri here. The track is already supported by DJ Koze, Gilles Peterson, Mr Raoul K, Rainer Trüby, Michael Rütten and others. Watch out for some remixes of „Land Of The Arum Flower” coming later this year.
