Danish producer Uffe presents his innovative third LP Words and Endings, which further explores the boundaries between post-punk, dub, UK bass hybrids, and spiritual and free jazz. His first full-length outing on genre-breaking London imprint On the Corner, Uffe utilises the techniques that have long fueled his reputation as a purveyor of offbeat sonic fusions and delivers a diverse trip that leans into unusual territory with thrilling and unpredictable results. 


The rumbling intensity of ‘Forfra’ opens, nodding to the LP’s title as it translates from Danish as New Beginnings. The arresting first single ‘Immortal’ slaps with intricate drum patterns and introduces the allure of Julie Pavon, a guest vocalist and fellow On the Corner artist who is also a close confidant and regular collaborator of Uffe’s. ‘The Moon’ follows, an essential cut with it being the catalyst for the musical direction that the LP would take with its distinctive fusion of
bass, jazz and post-punk. Julie returns to listeners ears with her youthful flair breathing life into ‘Handgrenade’, a dub-influenced cut with all the tripped out pulses and subby swagger that will sound immense on a proper soundsystem. ‘Krasnik Boogie’ jumps through on the jazz trip with Uffe tapping free jazz drummer and creative soundboard Abel for his dexterous and rhythmic rapidity.

Today we present the Samo DJ and Pedrodollar killer rework of the title-track, exclusively available on the digital version. Opening with spiralling synths in form of headphase to then unfold a deep-carved and textured melody riding along jaunty bass moves and tribal drums, the track makes for a slick Janus-faced pumper.

There was little to be seen but for the faint misty fog which hung beneath the orange beam of light flippantly pouring from the streetlight. He hung his head and began to cry. 

Kasper Marrot is set to release a new EP on Twin Cities. The up and coming record label is making serious headway and is gathering support from far and wide. The new release is an exotic take on house music built for the depression of the modern day.

I-Robots presents his 2020 "Frau" remix package, featuring 17 new remixers in 2 parts - each artist working at the top of their game to make this a very special record. In this package we see the original taken in many different directions but each with their own interpretation of the originals vision.

Originally released in 2004 "Frau" to date is still one of I-Robots most popular tracks. The original, (remastered version and acapella are also included in the package) was inspired by the classic track Charlie’s "Spacer Woman" and other tracks from the Italo golden era. Music from the likes of Alexander Robotnick, Capricorn, Kano, Klein & M.B.O., N.O.I.A. and more released on the kult
“I-Robots - Italo Electro Disco Underground Classic” compilation released also in the same year.

Immediately supported by IDJ Mag, Ivan Smagghe, 2Many DJs , Radio Slave, Sven Vath, Tiga and Felix Da Housecat and previously remixed by the likes of Boys Noize and Phuzique it was important and the new batch of remixers, coming from all across the globe brought this classic bang up to date.
