Hello. I am Aethery Fields.

There are moments when time seems to stand still.

Instants when fog settles over a landscape and contours blur. "hello." is such a moment, captured in sound, preserved like a fading Polaroid whose edges are already dissolving.
After a distant time in the shadows, sailing the cinematic seas of Dark Ambient and Soundscape with my moniker "Logic Moon", I felt the need to give my brighter side more space. **Aethery Fields** was born, not as an escape, but as a complement. A place where light penetrates through the mist, where silence is not empty but filled with fleeting impressions.

"hello." is the counterpoint to my otherwise busy self. It is a still frame in a fog-veiled landscape, blurred, hazy, yet all the more haunting for it. Sometimes they are mere silhouettes drifting through the sound, vague intimations of melodies that emerge from the mist and vanish again. Then suddenly simple lines crystallize, clear and immediate, before fading back into the haze.

Process
Every track on this album emerged spontaneously, born from the moment itself. I sat down, pressed record, and let the things flow. No overthinking, no perfectionism, only the urge to capture the here and now before it slips away. What you hear is what happened in that instant. A texture, a melody appearing out of nowhere. Minimalist in form, yet rich in emotion. This music reveals my quiet side, that self which strives for deceleration, which dwells in the now and transforms impressions into sound as naturally as breathing. Each piece is an impulse made audible, a fleeting thought given form. It is a pause between breaths, a lingering in the moment before it dissolves.

Like a Polaroid capturing the essence of a vanishing moment, the diffuse light, the blurred atmosphere, the unrepeatable accident, "hello." reflects instants that can never be fully grasped or recreated. Still lifes in stillness, which despite their calm are permeated by countless sounds and impressions. It is the beauty of the imperfect, the transient, the barely visible, the unplanned.
"hello." is an invitation to pause, to lose yourself in the fog and to discover the essential in the blurred, to feel the aliveness within the stillness.

Something Unique
In a forgotten corner of the cosmos, where the constellations still sing in ancient dialects, a creature without equal was born. She had no name, because no language could contain her. Her skin was liquid obsidian, her eyes two moons facing each other, and her voice... her voice was the perfect blend of a whale's sigh and the creak of a glacier.
The gods watched her with curiosity. She was not the daughter of any, nor a product of prophecy. She was something unique.
Humans, seeing her in dreams, called her a thousand names: inspiration, chaos, muse, shadow.
But she answered none of them. She only walked between planes, sowing questions.
One day, she descended to the mortal world. Not to rule, nor to save. Only to listen.
She sat on the top of a Basque mountain, where the wind speaks Basque, and waited.
Poets, musicians, children, and the elderly arrived. Each one offered her something: a song, a secret, a tear.
She took nothing. She just smiled, and when she did, the sky changed color.
Over time, they understood that her power lay not in what she did, but in what she provoked.
She was the mirror that doesn't reflect, the question that doesn't seek an answer, the spark that doesn't burn.
She was something unique. And when she left, she left behind a whisper that still floats in the air: "Don't look for me on maps. Find me in what you can't explain."

This album was conceived in Moscow during the Spring of 2018, when Dmitry Vasilyev organized the concert of Enrico Coniglio and Giulio Aldinucci at дом - Dom Cultural Centre. The album reflects the feelings of some very intensive days made of exchanges of ideas with a multitude of people involved in music (including Dmitry Taldykin of Dronarivm) and moments spent in isolated places out of the metropolis, like a forest not far from an army shooting range.

In this album, the two musicians wave together memories of an immutable past and questions about the present, giving birth to a sort of a requiem overflowing with lyricism. This music enlighten the dawn of a future that now appears more uncertain than ever, with frozen intensity and dramatic strength. As a message entrusted to the stars, it leaves as wondering if we can still change the course of events.

Return to Sea and Sardinia:
January 2021 sees the centenary of D.H. Lawrence’s documented trip that resulted in his acclaimed book, Sea and Sardinia.

Return to Sea and Sardinia will follow in the footsteps of Lawrence’s journey exactly 100 years on from the day he set out.

Documenting the journey will be Daniele Marzeddu; a multi award-winning director experienced in documentary filmmaking.

The centre piece of the project will be the film that records Lawrence’s retraced journey - scheduled for release at arts and cultural venues across the UK and Sardinia in April 2021.

Return to Sea and Sardinia will also curate captured material into a limited-edition photo book, featuring a commentary about the locations and scenes as they existed in Lawrence’s day and also today, 100 years on.

Glåsbird joins the Return to Sea and Sardinia project to compose the soundtrack to the film, in which the approach will trace the signature sound/place compositional style.
