Bas Amro his sound is hard to describe. His tracks are oldskool but modern, they’re deep but dancefloor-effective and though he doesn’t limit himself to one style, he’s definitely no trendhopper. While producing house, deep house, tech-house and even techno, all his productions (released on imprints such as Save Room and Freerange Records) have something in common that constitute a sophisticated sound from he Enschede-based artist.

As every year, when the open-air season reaches its peak, it is time for another edition of BBQ Techno. The tasteful selection of open-air specialities, always compiled by Alex Flitsch and consisting of exclusive titles and highlights from our repertoire, is going into its 4th round already. As exclusives we feature three tracks this time, one more beautiful than the other. First, we have the bittersweet and wonderful "Falling Tears“ by Swabian young blood Peter Reinhardt with vocal support by FAB. Next up is "Dolls“, a massively driving melodic tech-house track, rich in detail, by Swiss fellow David Durango. The last exclusive is an old-schoolish, new interpretation by Of Norway of their 2012 Nu-Disco-epic "Libertine“. Put you hands one the grill and your beef in the air!

Back in 2009 i was in search of a home for my first album, it emerged that the only person who helped me to finish/release it was Mr. Joris Voorn. Since then i had the chance to release another album on Green few years later(his own imprint he runs with his partner in crime Edwin Oosterwal). So when i had the opportunity to work on Joris original material, i was really enthusiastic and wanted to make something really special for him, so here’s the lunar result.

This tracks was started sometime this summer during a particularly violent thunder storm, thus the stormy atmosphere. I hope you enjoy it.
