‘Traiettorie Vol. 3’ is the third and final part of DE RIO's first extended compilation. Alongside our trusty residents and artists, get ready to take a journey down the rabbit hole with some of the most talented producers out there, from Alan Backdrop to Katatonic Silentio, passing through Spekki Webu and Louwave & Splinter (UA) to many, many more, skydiving into the celestial vastness of sound: fast-paced rhythms, mental tribe tekno, cyclones of psy trance, disturbed, hypnotic and groovy techno, moments of dream and elevation. 12 tracks by 12 different artists, closing a circle made of friendships and encounters, union, love for music and being together.

Taohsun is music listening space OH ROOM’s founder and director. Having pursued graduate studies in Japan, he specializes in sound art, focusing on the textures and spatial qualities of sound. This deep fascination with sonic materials and environments has become the core of their musical storytelling. In his DJ sets, Taohsun strives for a cinematic sense of layering, crafting immersive narratives through the careful interplay of tone, texture, and space. Their music spans a diverse range — from the cold precision of Minimal and Dub Techno, to the warm, laid-back atmosphere of Ambient, Tropical Groove, House, Downtempo, and Jazz Electronica. Navigating the balance between calm and intense, logic and emotion, Taohsun guides listeners on a richly layered sonic journey.

nearly everything you hear in this is sounds made from my electric violin and pedals except for a single looping sample and a few midi synth loops played live through Bitwig. 

Lightly mixed and modified but otherwise all raw. 

played on a shitty $60 hybrid acoustic/electric violin I travel with.

This is an actual song I'm working on that is part of an EP I'm in the middle of producing but performed live so of course is a little different. I also played a variation of this song in Tokyo and recently Mexico.
