I recently had a dream.
I was in heaven and had dinner there with a brontosaurus.
He said to me: "The meteor was sent to us at that time.. Could give many reasons why, I don't
want to go into that here now.. but if I can tell you one thing... God does not throw dice! The ghosts
I called and stuff.. You should understand this virus as a warning. As a test. As a nice request. And
as an analogy, because in the end you behave worse than any virus. The next crises are on the
way to you and others are foreseeable anyway, unless you urgently change something about your
lifestyle, your coexistence and how you treat your holy Mother Earth. Sure, now it is time to protect
and save human lives, but that was also the case before. Why the hell are you still waging wars?
What ́s about this patriarchy shit? Why still this completely outdated capitalism with its nonsense of
eternal economic growth? I digress...
In any case, I would like to ask you to make a slow down mix that may help your human friends to
go inside themselves, to recognize that you are part of something bigger, to love and respect
yourself and other living beings, and that actions must follow.
I said: "As you say dear Bronto. Thank you for this order. I don't think it could hurt.“
We gave ourselves high five and I flew away again.
Then I woke up and realized that I had already finished one.

The Shizzle is a weekly radio program that has been running since late 2014 on 99.9 BayFM (Byron Bay) which explores a diverse range of music from the now, yesterday and tomorrow. Touching on  everything from psychedelia, techno, post punk, disco, house, leftfield electronic music, downbeat, world exotica & more. I have a very loose music policy, "If I like it, I play it".

I am a passionate music fan originally from Melbourne who now calls the Byron Shire home. In Melbourne I presented various electronic music radio shows on 3PBS FM, was a founding member of the Global Eyes music/art project and a regular fixture on Melbourne’s underground dj scene spinning at intimate affairs through to clubs and larger festivals including Earthcore,  Rainbow Serpent & The Eclipse Festival. I am in my happy place when playing music out especially to an adventurous dance floor.
