Since I was a child I have felt music as a door towards unlimited universes of new sensations and emotions. It is one of the most intimate ways to enjoy and feel collective emotions.

On 2017 i start to use Fl Studio & learn a little of music production. In this year i only was doing it, for entertaining purposes.

As of mid-2018, with the help of a new Home Studio, I began to produce melodic techno, a genre that allows me to connect each emotion with each instrument and feel a total union with music and the soul.

In January 2019 I signed my first contract with Trippy Code Records for the track  "Birding Trip" , which will end a period of "happy - experimental" techno, to welcome new darker and emotional songs. 

This is one of the most important moments in my short music carer, where i start to make a big migration to a more darkness subgenre, keeping the arpeggios and sweet melodies, and adding a new trippy audio layer for travel with the sounds.

With a calculated approach, Kassian The Protean is a DJ project with the sole goal of making auditors experience the best of melancholic storytelling in electronic music. Taking today's best avant-garde, deep, melodic and ethereal techno releases, Kassian The Protean seamlessly blends them to create long, auditive, cinematic journeys for the soul. Stories with acts, emotional apexes and downs, landscape changes. 

Having been influenced by the pioneers of electronic music such as Hernan Cattaneo, Soul Button, John Digweed and Stephan Bodzin, Kassian The Protean has now mastered the art of musical storytelling. With opening acts for the likes of Giorgia Angiuli, Jonas Saalbach, Groj, Simon Doty, Teenage Mutants, the project has now established its presence in the teeming Montreal scene.
