Ryan and Myself made this track since I am a Big fan of “Game of Thrones “and this track is based on the fire lady “Melisandre”.

Sunny and warm sounds, the relaxing voices of kids and an on-point bass line. Welcome back Budakid with "Rhizome" which could be the late-summer-hit with it's intense soundscapes and message. "Matahari" feat. Sterioa is more four to the floor with some spacey sounds and wide open keys. Nordfold is the partner in crime for "Granny" which is starting slow and mysterious. The whole Ep is a sound experiment full of unusual sounds and effects, enjoy the trip.

Swiss producer Avasono returns to Manual Music's MNL subsidiary for a third appearance after last years' 'Overwhelming Picture' single and his 2017 label debut 'Hummingbird' which both gained a lot of support throughout the scene.

'Riells' might just be his best work to date. An underground tune that starts out with some menacing rolling beats and percussion, quickly to evolve in to a full fletched and very mature sounding crowd pleaser. Stick around until the second part of the track where the synths truly open up and show their pure bliss!

On remix duties we're incredibly happy to welcome one of the hottest producers of the moment on board; Greece's own Ziger! His productions have found their way into the sets of every A-list DJ over recent years, and he's one of progressive house's best selling artists at the moment. A fact which shouldn't surprise you when listening to the stellar remix he created for Avasono.

After his well received MNL debut 'Microcrystals' a couple of months ago and after celebrating the launch of his own HRBR (Harbour Saigon) label, it's time to welcome the classically trained and ridiculously talented Vietnamese producer (or should we say musician) B.A.X. back within the Manual Music label family.

This time he presents us with a stunningly beautiful tearjerker titled 'Moongazer'. A warm and emotional piece, showcasing once again B.A.X.'s vast potential and musicality. The original mix is accompanied by an equally mindblowing reprise which truly does justice to the beauty of this composition.

A proper continuation of the Manual Deep label, after Beije's celebrated 'Botanical' release last January.

Roger Martinez’s new Higher States imprint launches this week with three stunning tracks from the man himself. With a career now spanning well over a decade, the Dutch artist’s transcendent style has long been a favorite of the world’s top DJs, landing him releases on some of progressive music’s most esteemed imprints in Lost & Found, Replug and Sudbeat. Now starting a new journey, Roger presents the inaugural release on Higher States.

Having spent the first month of 2019 touring Australia the ethos of this collection draws on inspiration from Roger’s experiences there. Beginning with ‘Dreamtime’ we get a free flowing journey of redolent rhythms and effervescent electronics. It’s near ten minute running time is fluid throughout, showcasing delicate motifs and organic designs. Mystical yet emotive, these aesthetics are backed by a warm, pulsating groove, underpinning the track and translating it’s spiritual message to the dance floor. 

Meanwhile, the collection’s second selection ‘Songlines’ comes across a bit deeper with a more spacious groove sitting at the foundation. Smooth and dynamic, Roger’s attention to detail is once again at a premium, with evocative themes building subtly into a glowing main break that ultimately sits at emotional core of the EP. 

Rounding out the release is the quirkier ‘Billabong’ which once again showcases Roger’s nomadic style. Quite fresh and rhythmically buoyant, it’s also esoteric in mood and delivery, thus a fitting end to a spiritually uplifting collection from Roger. It rounds out what is a stunning debut for Higher States, with Roger crafting some of his most inspired productions to date here. Highly recommended.
