self-titled is a music magazine that has nothing to do with music. At least not in the traditional sense of self-important ‘criticism’ and profiles that read like regurgitated press releases. Yes, we print reviews and thought-provoking features, but we also pride ourselves on answering the questions others don’t ask. Has been creating edgy works of electronic music, and exploring music experience with the use of 3D sound system as new instruments. He shows the spatial and immersive music experience by his original project "See by Your Ears,” which suggests how sound particles bounce and billow in a completely dark space.

In search of the perfect acoustic mirror for his perception of the world, Hannes Kretzer started to collect and distort sound effects until they fit into his mental universe at an early age. Synthesizer pioneers from the 70s were his first spiritual companions on his experimental exploration with sound.  From the beginnings in meditative ambient grew an equally strong fascination for straight-forward pop culture.  Intrigued by the idea of bringing together these contrasting worlds, Hannes Kretzer embarked on a new journey to incorporate a sense for dynamics, evolving structure, juxtaposition and space into his new creations.
