This piece was written by Anne Gregson and in May 2015 the Kreutzer String Quartet gave the work its premier in a concert at the Michael Tippett Centre,  Bath Spa University. This recording comes from that concert. To my mind this is a work of great beauty and tranquillity, with an ending that packs a surprising emotional charge.
