My set from Wave's awesome "The Evil Dread" Halloween event at legendary rave venue The Mill in Bradford on Sat 28th October 2023! Jam packed with tasty Hardcore treats from the 90's right up to the present! This was a wicked event - the Bradford crowd were on form as usual and I really enjoyed taking this set on a bit of a whistle-stop journey through the years :D Enjoy!

Projekt Kaos - Rave Domination

On Saturday 14/11/15 Cruze and Mr Ripley flew out from the UK to Hungary to represent Trackmaster Music at "Elysium" in Budapest - a proper underground event dedicated to pushing the sounds of UK Hardcore music.

Playing to a new crowd is always an exciting challenge - you're never 100% sure what to expect before you touch down at the club but the Budapest ravers were really up for the party and stomped it up proper from start to finish to a varied mix of styles from the lads, supported by some of the best local talent.

Bigups to Spike and the crew for a wicked night and showing the love for #TeamTMM - roll on next time! ;-)

Honestly can't begin to say how much fun we had at this rave, the atmosphere was off the scale and the Leeds ravers brought it *big time* from start to finish. Claxton is a fantastic DJ and it was a real buzz to work with him again, you can always rely on him to find some of the best fresh new Hardcore and dig deep to find a gem from the archives too.

Mr Ripley - Dance Journeys Part Two - fresh, upfront Trance!

Dug out from the archives for the first time in years, this mix is a real blast from the past! One of the first demos I ever gave out in 2004, this was mixed on 2x Citronic PD1 turntables with a Citronic Pro-8 mixer - they were direct drive but the motor wasn't the strongest so you had to give the records a good push off to get them started!

Listening through reminded me why I fell in love with DJ'ing Hardcore, and the tracklist is a lot more progressive than I remembered it! The tracks were longer back then which meant for longer mixes and sets really going on a journey! I even threw in some Hard Dance played on the wrong speed ;)
