Fono66 is the exotic sound of “Primodica”— an intoxicating blend of Primitive and Modern tones that provide a unique soundtrack for the modern Exotica enthusiast who has outgrown the ordinary.

Erupting forth from the dusts of creation, four Space-Age Primordials, Nick Walusko, Todd Jaeger, Joel Domantay and Chris Reccardi explore a sonic landscape that pulsates with the earthy rhythms of the primitive past and glistens with the electronic ambience of a utopian future, instantly transporting the listener from from lost exotic worlds through the far reaches of the cosmos.

The sound of Fono66 is as rich and varied as the individuals it is comprised of. All three core members formed the nucleus of Elliot Easton’s (The Cars) Tiki Gods, co-creating the album Easton Island, released in 2013. Guitarist Nick Walusko is a Grammy Award-winning guitarist/composer/producer and co-founder of the L.A. underground super pop group Wondermints and longtime writing/touring member for the legendary Brian Wilson (The Beach Boys) Band with credits that include co-mixing on Brian’s last two albums Brian Wilson Re-imagines Gershwin and In the Key of Disney. On keys, Todd Jaeger, a brilliant musician and songwriter who is fluent on several instruments (including Theremin) and whose writing/playing credits include work with legendary producer Tony Visconti (David Bowie, T Rex, Moody Blues, Paul McCartney) Dave Davies (The Kinks) Sparks, and Alex Chilton as well as scoring for TV/Film on The Mayor of Sunset Strip, SpongeBob Squarepants and Will Ferrels’s Funny or Die. Bassist/Guitarist/multi-instrumentalist Chris Reccardi, co-founder of Der Screamin’ Lederhosen ( title theme artists for The Ren & Stimpy show) is also an award-winning and Emmy-nominated Animator and Designer with credits on numerous Animated TV and Film projects such as The Ren & Stimpy Show, The Powerpuff Girls, Samurai Jack, Shrek 3 & 4, Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs 1 & 2, and The Lego Movie, and the co-creator/music composer Nickelodeon’s cult fav pilot The Modifyers. An established fine artist in the Pop/Surrealism/Mod Art genre with international gallery showings and sales of fine art prints on 4 continents, Chris provides the rich ‘Primo-Mod’ aesthetic for Fono66  that includes spectacular live video, animation and all of Fono66’s future product design and art direction. Joel Domantay, the groups Rythmatist, is a world-class drummer who has also played with Reccardi in 2 prior groups and currently keeps the groove for one of L.A’s hottest funk bands, Bumphouse.
