So one of my friends said this remix sounds like "Elton John in the back of a limo driven by Big Bird"... not really the reaction I was expecting, but I'll take it. I absolutely loved "Team" the first time I heard it, and after I still loved it after the 1000th time I heard it, I knew I had to remix it. Really proud of how this came out, even though it was one of the most frustrating remixes I've ever worked on - I almost smashed my computer a dozen times, and yelled at all my friends who told me that earlier versions sucked, even though they were right. So please, enjoy - and sorry neighbors for all the noise, I swear I'm not crazy, but no I won't turn it down.

PS If we're being totally honest, I loved her performance at the Grammy's, seizures and everything.

I love how funky and different their tunes sound, while still bringing a ton of energy. "Gecko" in particular is totally insane, but I couldn't help but imagining big chords and weird glitches underneath the main riff, and making it a bit more melodic. so this is my first single. i love doing remixes, but my dream has always been to make originals that stand up with all the amazing songs i love... and this song is really special to me - it's one of the first times that i'm finally close to getting out what I hear in my head, of course with the help of Lyon Hart, an amazing singer-songwriter who I think is going to be a star. when i heard the vocal demo, i was blown away and yelling and stuff and my roommates were like wtf is wrong with you and i didn't care cuz i was so excited. 

the track is is a little grittier and heavier than some of my other stuff, but i think there's a kind of beautiful energy in starting from a dark place, and thinking to yourself "fuck it, i'm literally going to be the king of everything", and using that insane idea to pull yourself into the light. did that make sense? it totally made sense in my head. in any case, i'm so thankful for all the support i've gotten and so so so excited to be putting out original music, and this is just the beginning of a ton of (hopefully) great original stuff coming soon <3

Bio:
To be one of the many DJ's & producers all over the world, it sure is really hard for Steven Cunha Goncalves - better known as the one and only Mr Conquest - to stand up and let the masses hear his massive productions. Yet he is determined to work hard, which lead to a couple of great successes in his yet young career.
In december 2011, after listening to music on MTV, his attention got caught by a single track. It was different from the others, yet there was such a great energy in it. As Mr Conquest said against a few persons "Club Can't Handle Me" by David Guetta featuring Flo Rida was defenitly the track that got me into making music myself. That same afternoon - after downloading a couple of programs - he started experimenting and he immediatly knew that this was what he wanted to do later: making music.
Starting as a producer only, he took his "productions" to a higher level as he started working on FL Studio at the beginning of March 2012. This all resulted in being contacted by an artist - asking for a collaboration - and a record label - asking if he was interested in releasing his latest productions "Go!" and "Shake It". "Make Some Noise", the collaboration with DJ LEFT got released 3 months later, including his "Go! EP" on Alien Tunes Recordings - Sub label of North Africa's prestigious Kalimira Music -. This unlocked the door towards fame for Mr Conquest as he started releasing tracks after tracks, getting better with every single production he released. All this made him want to do something more, as he started DJing on small schoolparties, trying to earn his own spot in the professional music world.
Having his remix of "Find You" played on German radio and being featured on many promotional channels on Youtube, the world knew that he couldn't be stopped. Despite all the successes, Steven knew it was time for a change and this change came by changing his artist name, which resulted in losing some of his fans, but then he eventually regained the lost fans after "Mr Conquest" was born on the 6th of March in 2015. Releasing a couple of heavy remixes as Mr Conquest, such as his remix of "Bailando" and "Astronaut", he started to get more and more attention from the world outside his bedroom in Amsterdam. After signing a contract with Dutch Live Communication Group, Mr Conquest knew that this was just the beginning of a long road towards success.
