Saytek Biography:

UK artist Saytek (aka Joseph Keevill) has gathered some serious momentum over the last few years and has become one of the electronic music scene’s most in-demand live acts. From multiple shows in Ibiza at The Terrace of Space (RIP) & The Zoo Project and regular shows at fabric London to being fully embraced by Berlin's underground scene performing regularly at clubs including Tresor, Golden Gate, Salon - Zur wilder Renate, Chalet, Sisyphos, Kosmonaut, Ipse and more. Saytek has a relentless tour schedule with gigs at some of the best parties and festivals in The Uk, Canada, Croatia, France, The Czech Republic, Italy, Belgium, Poland, Spain, Netherlands, Finland to name but a few.

He has garnered acclaim the world over with his improvised live shows that see him using a myriad of kit to perform a unique blend of deep techno & tough house grooves with dubby acidic hues. Saytek is master of musical technology with a unique energy and ear for melody and knows exactly how to make each piece of studio kit dance to his visionary ideas. He writes produces and performs everything live, using Elektron Analog 4 & Analog Rtym, Ableton, Korg Monotron Delay Kaos Pad & Volca: Bass, Sample, Keys. Novation Impulse 25, Native Instruments Maschine + lots more.

Saytek's music output is prolific and includes Live Jams, EPs and live albums on his own Cubism label, along with 12” and digital releases on labels such as KMS, Superfreq, Liebe*Detail, Soma, Bedrock, fabric (London Club).

My Favorite Robot Records, Wiggle, Monique Musique, Golden Gate Club Records, My Favourite Freaks and many more. His work Is played week in week out by the DJ elite including Carl Cox (Saytek has become one of his most played artists), Laurent Garnier, Maceo Plex, Kevin Saunderson, Derrick May among many other leading players. Saytek was nominated for Best Live Act by DJ Mag for their 2013 Awards; while Mixmag awarded Album Of The Month the same year.

Mr.C - Class Of 88

Here's my DJ set from my Radical Inclusion launch party at Superfreq at FOLD in London on 8th June 2019. What a fantastic night that was. I hope you enjoy the music.

Mr.C DJ set - Radical Inclusion launch at Superfreq

Mr.C started MCing in London clubs aged 16 working with LWR radio's Ron Tom, Jasper the Vinyl Junkie & Jazzy M. Mr.C then hooked up with Colin Faver & Evil Eddie Richards to became resident rapper at the legendary Camden Palace in London. Mr.C went into the studio to record his 1st house track with Eddie Richards as Myster-E which was released in August 1987. This inspired Mr.C to become a DJ so in September 87 he took to the decks. 
Mr.C has since organised, promoted & been resident DJ at: Fantasy ('88), Base (Dungeons '89), Release (91), Harmony (92), Drop (93), Cyclone (94), Vapourspace (94 & 95), Flavour (The End 95 & 96), Subterrain (The End 95 - 2002), Superfreq (Worldwide 2002 - Present), Super Disco Freq (LA 2010 - present), Next Step Forward Festival (Sept 2018). 
Mr.C was resident DJ every weekend (Friday & Saturday nights) at the legendary RIP parties at Clink Street in London throughout 1988.
Mr.C hosted weekly radio show Future Music on Kiss 100FM in London from 1993-2002 & has presented TV shows for MTV, FH1, VIVA & BBC. To say that Mr.C is one of the most iconic DJs in the world would be an understatement.
In December 1995 Mr.C opened the legendary nightclub The End in London & then AKA bar 3 years later & was lauded as one of the best night clubs in the world. The End & AKA closed its doors for good on January 24th 2009. 1 Chapter closes & another begins. Since the closure of The End Mr.C has been running his Superfreq events globally & is just about to host his brand new London festival, Next Step Forward Festival. 
Mr.C runs & promotes Superfreq events, which celebrated being 16 years old in March 2018 & ran monthly at Mr.C's club The End until it closed down in January 2009. Superfreq functions bi-monthly in London & does regular events in Los Angeles as well as bi-monthly events in Calais France & one off events the world over.
Mr.C is founder & owner of Plink Plonk records, co-founder of End Recordings & founder & co-owner of the Superfreq label, which is now releasing music prolifically.
Mr.C has recorded under the names, Myster-E, Unity 2, Nu Jacks, Bass Bureau, The Shamen, Mantrac, Somnambulist, Animus Amour, Killer Loop, Mr.C & Tom Parris, Mr.C & 16B, Sycophant Slags, Indigo Kidz & East LA Tek.
Mr.C is best known as front man, songwriter & producer of the pop group The Shamen with whom he notched up a string of top 10 hits including Move Any Mountain, Love Sex Intelligence, Boss Drum, Phorever People & the UK number 1 smash hit Ebeneezer Goode. These hits were hits the world over. The Shamen album Boss Drum went double platinum in the UK & they also won a highly coveted Ivor Novelo for Songwriters of the year UK in 1993. Richard's currently recording solo as Mr.C & is also doing collaborations as the Indigo Kidz with Affie Yusuf & with Noel Jackson as East LA Tek.
His latest album was released last year called Incidents, which is arguably his best work to date along with singles Stand Up, Shape Your Dreams & Ripple Effect all being taken from the album.
